Over the last two years, High Score has thoroughly enjoyed hosting and sponsoring numerous Smash related competitions including 60 Smashfield weeklies. Supporting the Smash community reinforces what we love about games, community, and competition. Working with and aiding many of the community leaders including top TO’s Kevandre “King” Thompson and Kelle “Ori” Wangat along with prominent Smash streams like Gooshi Gaming is a privilege.

Together we’ve fostered the scene and encouraged growth as new players came in and veterans came back with the release of Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. We quickly outgrew the High Score Lounge as player numbers passed 70 and we have experimented with large sponsors like Buffalo Wild Wings and Emagine Theaters to try our best to create an engaging event that has many amenities.

The goal is straight forward but the task is large. With your help, we want to create one of the best weekly environments and competitions in the region. A welcoming atmosphere with affordable amenities, an event to test your skills, complete with the recognition players deserve. A significant step to obtaining our goal is finding a location that fulfills community needs:

· Affordable space rental

· Proximity to major freeways

· Ample free parking

· Plenty of room for setups

· Consistent internet for streamers

· Affordable food and drink options

We’re happy to say that after a lengthy search, King, Ori, and High Score have found the next location to continue this awesome growth…

The Fraternal Order of Eagles in Northville!

The Fraternal Order of Eagles is an international non-profit organization uniting fraternally in the spirit of liberty, truth, justice, and equality, to make human life more desirable by lessening its ills and promoting peace, prosperity, gladness, and hope. The F.O.E. donates more than $10 million a year to local communities, fundraisers, charities and more. As part of its philosophy, the F.O.E. gives back 100 percent of monies raised in the form of grants. Fundraisers are conducted for eight major charities, including kidney, heart, diabetes, cancer and spinal cord injury funds, a children’s fund, memorial foundation, and the Golden Eagle Fund.

Every Thursday this summer, Smashfield we will take over the second floor of the Northville Fraternal Order of Eagles (nicknamed “The Eagles Nest”!) and play with all our hearts. We invite you to join us as we step into the next phase of one of the longest-running Smash weeklies in the country!

We hope you are as excited as we are to combine our Smash community goals with such an amazing charitable organization. A percentage of the Smashfield door along with 100% of the profit from food and drink purchases will go towards supporting all the great mentioned causes. Through the joy of gaming, we can help and support those in need. If you joined us for the Gamer Advantage Smash Invitational last month, you already know that the Northville Fraternal Order of Eagles is situated in the heart of Northville, with plenty of parking and options for a pre-game meal. During the weekly event, you can also head to the downstairs bar and get yourself a refreshing beverage (pop, water, alcohol) or a tasty snack (fries, tenders, jalapeno poppers, hot dogs, etc), knowing that every cent you spend there is going to a good cause. If you can, please tip the bartender Lori, she is really going out of her way to try to make this work for all of us.

As always, we expect and appreciate all participants to treat our hosts and their facility with the utmost respect. If you see or hear of any inappropriate behavior, please immediately notify a TO or High Score employee. Working together, we can make sure we have this location for as long as we want. Let’s lead by example and show the Eagles (and future sponsors) what a decent, proud, and respectful gaming community looks like.
