Our long national nightmare may be coming to an end, as it seems like Naughty Dog’s Last Of Us 2 will be part of tomorrow’s PlayStation State of Play stream.
The sequel to the 2013 megahit has been in the works since… well probably since 2013, and while fans have gotten a few tasty morsels over the years, an actual release date has been elusive. Perhaps tomorrow that will all change.
The last word on the Last of Us 2 beat was waaaaay back in August when a bunch of lucky Gamestop managers got to see some footage of the game behind closed doors at PAX West. That footage was expected to be released to the public – even though Naughty Dog never said it would be – but it never was – probably because Naughty Dog never said it would be. Maybe that’s what we’ll see tomorrow? The only way to know for sure is to tune in for the PlayStation State of Play stream, starting at 4 pm EST.
For now, all we have are these tweets from Naughty Dog…

What say you all? Can you keep your excitement at bay for another 24 hours?
