A fan favorite since he first appeared in Fatal Fury: King of Fighters, Terry Bogard has made his way through plenty of games in the last 28 years. Along with 11 Fatal Fury games and an impressive 35 King of Fighters games, Terry has also popped up in Days of Memories: Kare to Watashi no Atsui Natsu, a dating sim game. It’s nice to know that between all the fighting, Terry finds time for romance, isn’t it?

Terry isn’t afraid to leave his SNK home to represent his fighting family in other games. He’s in Tencent’s Xuan Dou Zhi Wang aka King of Combat, and most famously the Capcom vs. SNK series. Now, for the first time ever, Terry and his iconic hat are making their way to the biggest selling fighting game of all time, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

And you can get the Legendary Wolf right now! As of today, Terry is available as a DLC character. And Terry brought presents! Along with a great new character, you can get the King of Fighters Stadium stage and 50 music tracks from a bunch of SNK games. A glorious day indeed! If you already have the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass, then you already own Terry and all the extras. If you don’t have the pass, you can still get Terry by buying the Challenger Pack 4.

Terry joins Joker, Hero and Banjo & Kazooie as downloadable characters, with one more coming in the near future. Who could it be? We don’t know, but we’re hoping for Captain N. How has he never shown up in any of these games?! Give us this gift, Nintendo!
