There’s A Whole Lot Of Games Coming Out This Month!

November has become something of the middle child of holiday months. We spend all October getting ready for Halloween by watching spooky movies, playing creepy games, and eating loads of candy. Then, on November 1st, the Christmas music starts blasting at the local Target. The month of Thanksgiving has become a way to just make the Christmas season last longer, the turkey pushed out of the way for more reindeer. Bob’s Burgers captured it best…

But we’re not here to mourn the weakest of the three big holidays (at least here in the United States. Did you know Canada celebrates Thanksgiving in October? Those kooky Canucks!). No, today we celebrate the massive list of great looking games coming out over the next 30 days!

Now, you won’t be able to play all of these. To be honest, you probably won’t want to play most of them, but that’s the beauty of games, there’s something for everyone. And before we get to the big list, here are the three games we’re most looking forward to checking out…

Death Stranding (November 8)

Reviews have started coming out today, and from the look of it, you either love or hate Death Stranding. Overall, it looks like most reviewers love it, but there are a fair share who are left wondering what everyone else is seeing.

One thing we can be sure of – a Hideo Kojima game is always worth checking out. Since 1987 and the release of Metal Gear, Kojima has been wowing gamers with his constant push to bring games to higher and higher standards. From art direction to gameplay to story, Kojima constantly works to amaze fans. Will Death Stranding become a classic in the video game world

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (November 15)

We’re getting deep into Star Wars season. The Mandalorian will be premiering on Disney+ this month, and in December the supposed final part of the Star Wars saga comes out (come on, we can all be pretty sure that an Episode X will shockingly be announced in a few years, right?). And in between the two comes Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

Developed by Respawn Entertainment, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order takes place a few years after Revenge of the Sith. You play as Cal Kestis, one of the remaining Padawans to survive Order 66. After being seen using his Jedi powers, Cal is on the run from the mentee of Darth Vader, Second Sister.

The thing that has us most excited about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is Respawn. We’re big fans of the Titanfall games, and Apex Legends is a blast. We can’t wait to see what they’ve done with this one.

Shenmue 3 (November 19)

Yu Suzuki’s Shenmue saga started 20 years ago, and for a long time, he and his fans weren’t so sure he would ever get to return to the story he has put so much work into. Luckily for us all, Sony stepped up to the plate to help get Shenmue 3 to the fans (along with a Kickstarter that raised  $7.1 million).

Will Shenmue 3 big a huge seller? Probably not. The series has always had a dedicated cult following and for those cult members, sales numbers aren’t what matters. What matters is seeing the next chapter in the life of Ryo Hazuki.
